Snowy Weekend

On Saturday we signed Audrey up for a kids cookie decorating class to make Valentines Day treats. Unfortunately, our plans were squashed when we came to a complete stop on the freeway for over an hour. The weather was so bad due to the snow that there were accidents all over the place- what a bummer! We decided we could still make some treats at home so off we went to the grocery store. 


I'm so happy we went because they had a mini cookie decorating table for kids set up. Audrey got to make a cookie after all!! We also met the Chick-Fil-A cow - Audrey was thrilled!

We went home and invited Audrey's friend Kyla and her parents over to make cupcakes. I think the girls had a good time together. They colored, played in the basement, made cupcakes, and of course ate them!

Today, I snapped a few pics of Audrey. A few blog entries ago, I posted pictures of our zoo trip in January. When we were taking pictures that day, my girlfriend was putting her hands in the air saying "woo-hoo". Well, this has now become one of Audrey's favorite things to do when I take her picture. It's so funny!

Audrey's 2nd Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Audrey's 2nd Birthday party with our family. The theme was Mickey Mouse, in honor of our recent Disney trip and her new found love for Mickey, Minnie and all of the princesses. My cousin Teresa made lots of great decorations that matched so perfectly with everything. This year, Audrey opened some of the gifts all by herself and it was so fun to watch her figure out what they were. What a fun party!

Jason G's Surprise Birthday Party

My brother's birthday was February 3rd and we celebrated at his surprise party that night. It was such a fun adult night out and great to share food and cake with my brother!!

January 31st?

58 degrees on January 31st? Unheard of!!!


A trip to the zoo was a MUST today! 


Audrey and I invited our friends Evelinne and Lucas along to soak in the sun. Oh, the glorious sun!! Today, we were blessed with great weather and awesome animal sightings. It was obvious the animals were enjoying the sun as much as we were.

Yes, the tutu came to the zoo but we took it off so it didn't get dirty
